Greenlee PE2003-G Pulser Buried Cable Fault Locator
Lets you identify the exact location of even the smallest breaks in insulation...Portable transmitter "pulses" a 3.4kV signal down the conductor that radiates into the earth at any of the existing fault locations. On the A-frame mounted receiver, a visual analog meter points the way to the nearest fault. Multiple faults on a single wire can be identified, indicating the need for replacement vs. repair. The Pulser can pinpoint the exact location of even the smallest nick in the cable's insulation.
